In The Blink Of An Eye, SYNOPSIS
Danielle is a single parent. Her future looks bleak, and emotionally she is drained. Everyday seemed to be an uphill struggle, but she was determined not to let life get her down. Mick is an alcoholic, and oblivious that his problem was the reason behind the breakdown of his marriage. He spends most of his free time with his best mate Bill in the King’s Head, where they had got to know Danielle who worked behind the bar. Bill has just come out of a failed relationship, and is finding it hard adjusting to his new life. Stuart works in the city. He was used to the high life, but when the blow came that shook his foundations, he found himself in a place where he never imagined he would be, the King’s Head. Mick decides that he needs to get away for a few weeks. He knows a family that own a hotel in Skiathos, and asks Bill to come with him. Bill jumps at the chance, and offers to pay for Danielle. After some persuasion she agrees, and the holiday is booked. Stuart hears of their escape and is pleased to know that he can join them. Leaving their worries behind, the four friends find themselves in the glorious Greek sunshine. Pannos, the heir to the hotel, takes one look at Danielle and falls head over heels. He sweeps her off of her feet, but when Pannos’ father finds out, he tries to put a stop to their love affair. But unbeknown to them, Pannos’ father is hiding a secret of his own. Mick’s affliction is brought to the surface, and finds that he has to take a long hard look at his life. Due to an unforeseen circumstance, Stuart is told by the authorities to leave Skiathos.
